Drawing on the complicated mythologies of the surrealist writer William S. Burroughs (Naked Lunch), BLACK LODGE is the Halloween event of the season. Part film screening and part industrial rock opera concert, this West Coast premiere event features glam opera band Timur & the Dime Museum, Jennifer Harrison Newman, and Isaura String Quartet.

Set in a nightmarish Bardo — a space between death and rebirth — the story follows a tormented writer grappling with his deepest regret. As he navigates this terrifying realm, he is haunted by a mysterious woman who appears at every turn, pushing him to confront his darkest demons.

Other unique event highlights:

  • Interactive pre-show: Guests will have the chance to step into the BARDO themselves, wandering through dark corridors filled with trapped souls, strange creatures, and chilling encounters that set the tone for the evening.
  • Halloween-inspired attire: Attendees are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the season by dressing in their spookiest outfits. Please note that certain restrictions apply — no face coverings, masks, weapons, or oversized props/headgear that could obstruct views or block aisles will be allowed.

This one-of-a-kind event is a captivating mix of psychological drama, powerful music, and mesmerizing visuals. Join us if you dare.
